We are pleased to announce a PhD position in Experimental Quantum Science in a new research group at the Universitat de Barcelona and the Institute of Cosmos Sciences (ICCUB).
The project will focus on designing and building a new ultracold-atom platform. We plan to combine optical tweezers and optical lattices to create a versatile machine for quantum simulation and quantum optics.
We are looking for motivated candidates with an MSc in Physics (or a related discipline) by September 2026. An ideal background would include experience in atomic physics, quantum science, or experimental photonics. The fellowship would start in Fall 2026, and the deadline for the pre-selection call is November 30, 2025.
