The Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC) invites applications for two postdoctoral research positions (22 and 17 months, to start in November 2025) in the field of quantum technologies and complex systems. These positions are funded by the EU Quantera project QNET, and the national (consolidation) project QUANTCOM .
We are seeking motivated and talented candidates to join our research efforts in the following areas:
-Neuromorphic-inspired quantum networks: Quantum reservoir computing and associative memories.
-Dynamics of out-of-equilibrium many-body quantum systems
The selected postdocs will be involved in theoretical and/or numerical modeling of complex quantum systems inspired by neuromorphic computing principles, with applications to quantum information processing, learning, and memory.
