We are currently accepting applications for the above mentioned position. This is a unique opportunity for highly motivated students recently graduated from the University in Physics or related fields to gain research experience in one of DIPC’s high-profile research teams.

We are building a new team to develop an atomic quantum processor based on dysprosium atoms in programmable optical tweezers. The project aims to push the frontiers of the rapidly growing field of neutral-atom quantum solvers by exploring novel atomic species with the potential to expand available operational schemes. It will strongly benefit from a collaborative effort and active exchange between DIPC and Innsbruck (Austria). As the experiment is in its early stages, you will have a unique opportunity to shape its design, contribute your own ideas, and gain expertise in the full stack of experimental techniques involving ultracold and Rydberg atoms.
