This course will cover basic aspects of Quantum Computing in an introductory way, and it will also review the different options currently available to set up qubits: superconducting transmons, cold atoms, spins in silicon quantum dots, photons, etc. The course will also show applications of quantum computing to face several technological challenges including those in energy, health, and materials design. The course lectures will be given in English.
